amBX extends the entertainment experience beyond traditional media out into the room around you. The amBX SDK (Software Development Kit) provides the amBX API and development tools. It enables developers to quickly add amBX support to their software without worrying about drivers and configuration.
You can develop and publish non-commercial software provided you agree to the terms of the SDK license agreement in the installer.
You can use the amBX SDK for research and evaluation in accordance with the terms of the license agreement. In order to exploit amBX commercially you have to become a Premium Developer.
ambx is really good fun, the only thing it lacks is compatability with games and programmes. The SDK should really help!
I am not a programmer, so i don’t know how hard is to implement this sdk in your game, but i don’t see this as a must, i see it more like a surplus, a nice addiction to the game but not strictly necessary…
