I’ve so many great memories from playing these fantastic games the first time around, they were foundations of my life long interest in gaming.

Defender of the Crown is still one of my all time top ten favourite games and as my systems changed (from 8bit to 16bit etc. and then into PC gaming) it has been resident on every PC (including my current)that I’ve owned for the last last twenty or so years.

Seriously, I still play this game today, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s retro these days sure but in great way. If anyone is reading this and hasn’t previously played Defender of the Crown, then treat yourself and get a absolute all time classic for free.

The browser version that Firesword has put in the ‘You might also like’ is well worth a go as well…. but it’s always good to get the original… enjoy.

    • Defender of the Crown was-is great. Also Cinemaware was a great software house.. i enjoyed Lords of the Rising Sun and It came from the Desert too..
