A great mod for Rome:Total War 1.2.(Alexander data-disk is also required) Fight for Gondor or for one of the factions of middle-earth.
This modification is based on The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, as the goal of this mod is to replicate the epic battles seen in those movies. The idea of thousands of soldiers fighting it out in a chaotic yet manageable environment so far can only be done by using the Total War game engines, which has taken the first step into the realm of 3D with Rome Total War, a best-selling and award winning third title in the series.
