    Hi!

Despite I’m not an active member of the forum I like to read your news and play the games you suggest.

Well, I’m a big fans of old strategic card games (like Magic and co.) and even though not for free, Humble Dumble has a great pack of those games on sales (actually “you pay what you want”) this month. Personally I suggest Star Realms and Card Hunter (already discussed on your pages)…

I thought I would reach out to you about a game that you might find interesting. The game is free to download with lots of content. And despite it having the appearance of a team project, the game has actually been created by a single person (I’ve done everything down to the website).

blind to siberia – a short abstract point and click adventure / interactive story made for #adventurejam 2015

In blind to siberia you must guide your character through 3 short lessons about life.

The game was developed for the April 2015 MAGS (Monthly Adventure Game Studio) competition which is a 30 day game dev challenge and also #adventurejam which is a 2 week game dev challenge hosted on Game Jolt. The theme is ‘sleeping’ so it could fit the MAGS guidelines.

You can get the game from either http://calicoreverie.co.uk/blind-to-siberia or http://gamejolt.com/games/adventure/blind-to-siberia/60762/

If you’d like to see what the game is like before downloading then Bulbapuck kindly did a play-through https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Vv1_5JOyVE

Voting is also still open for #adventurejam so with a Game Jolt account anyone can vote for blind to siberia here http://jams.gamejolt.io/adventurejam/games/blind-to-siberia/60762

    Kind Regards,

    Ben / Calico Reverie

    Hey guys!

I would like to present you my first game “Pixel Viking” (free)!

The task is very “simple”. You have to defend the tower against the enemy siege as long as possible.

Great game to kill boredom in which you will find:
    – 8 characters,

    – 2 towers to defend (the castle and palisade).

    A Goblin’s Xmas Tale

In this 4th-wall-breaking game you take control of the Giant Goblin who has just shot down Santa on Xmas night. Together, you and the Giant Goblin will go on a merry-old-fashioned-evil-ghost-candy-killing-holiday rampage, to maybe save Xmas from the jerk, Valdeze, who has stolen the naughty-and-nice-list and all the presents.

    http://giant-goblin-studio.itch.io/a-goblins-xmas-tale

    – The whole tale is fully voiced by actors

    – Pixel 2D arcade comedy/horror shooter

    – The main game can be played local co-op

    – Local 4 player VS. mode

    – The Giant Goblin will complain if you control him badly

    – Full of surprises and strange things

    – A Goblin’s Xmas Tale is a FREE indie game

    Press kit:
    http://www.giantgoblinstudio.com

The press kit contains download links for the game, a release trailer, images and a text description about the game.

Love Is Strange has been released today (April 1st, but NO APRIL FOOL!), a fan-made visual novel game for Windows, Mac and Linux, made by a group of queer fans of last year’s amazing adventure game “Life is Strange”. You play Max and can choose between four love interests (Chloe, Kate, Victoria or Rachel). About 150,000 words of text, 9 different endings, a dynamically changing journal… “Love is Strange” is based on the world of “Life is Strange” and its characters, but tells a peaceful story without he bad “stuff”.

    Hello, G4G

Currently myself and my team are an indie studio called the Lonely Men Studio and are creating a game for our final year project for our Bachelor’s Degree for Games and Interactive Entertainment. We have created a game titled ‘The Unexpected’, which is a free-for-all first person shooter. The game currently supports multiplayer for up to 4 people. The main mechanic of the game is that when you enter the game the teleport malfunctions and your weapons is randomly placed around the map and you need to find it. You are also linked to your weapon in a way that whenever you are killed your weapon will also be respawned no matter where it is, or who is holding it. While playing you are allowed to pick up other players weapons, but this leave you at the risk of it disappearing if they are killed. The Unexpected is a fast-paced game with short rounds, intended for multiple games in a session as opposed to a single long one. The release date is expected to be before the end of October. It will be released as a completely free game. Our website is http://www.theunexpectedgame.com.

Thanks, and looking forward to a response,

    Michael, from Lonely Men Studio.

    • Hi,
