OpenTyrian is a open-source port of the DOS shoot-em-up Tyrian.
Tyrian is an arcade-style vertical scrolling shooter. The story is set in 20,031 where you play as Trent Hawkins, a skilled fighter-pilot employed to fight Microsol and save the galaxy.
Available for Windows, Macintosh and Linux.
There are also console builds for the Amiga, Dreamcast, DS, GameCube, Gizmondo, GP2X, Nokia Internet Tablets, PSP, Symbian, and Wii.

Iron Seed is a game of strategy in which you must develop the strength and knowledge necessary to unite the free worlds, and defeat the alien horde that threatens the galaxy. You begin with a single ship, and a chosen crew. Research, exploration, and diplomacy, are essential elements for success. New Ships, new upgrades, and ancient artifacts will help you in your efforts. Combat will be both randomly thrust upon you, and planned for in your grand strategy.
Note: You need to use DosBox to run the game on modern system.

A remake of Mike Singleton’s Lords of Midnight.
The MIDNIGHT ENGINE is intended to be one program that can play both Lords of Midnight and Doomdark’s Revenge. But not only that it can allow others to create new and exciting adventures either within the midnight world or using the midnight style. The designer can keep the rules that were
implemented for the Lords of Midnight or Doomdark’s Revenge Scenarios or they may use the default set, giving their new game a different feel. Alternatively they can easily change code or data to completely change the rules.
The Midnight ENGINE also incorporates FRONTENDS. This allows new visual styles to be implemented without changing any of the game. This can be just graphics or even a different style of ouput.
