The NESJam is a video game development JAM where developers will spend a week and develop a game based around the theme of Nintendo Entertainment System. NESJam 1 was held December 1st – December 10th 2013. Here is a gamepack containing 6 of the 7 games submitted by the partecipants.
Developed by Midway – San Diego, Doom 64 is a unofficial sequel to Doom II developed for the Nintendo 64 and was released in March ’97. Based on the Jaguar and Playstation code base, Doom 64 is considered the most technically advanced Doom game of its time. In addition to the completely revamped rendering engine, Doom 64 went through numerous changes and improvements from that of Doom II. No graphics or sounds from Doom II have been reused in Doom 64; instead, it features completely new sprites, textures, levels and sounds and features a completely different art style.
This game is StandAlone (doesn’t require HL2) BUT requires Steam and Source SDKbase 2007 installed (both FREE)
GoldenEye: Source is a total conversion modification of Half-Life 2. It is a fan made recreation, released for free, with only one goal in mind; to bring the memories and experiences from the original GoldenEye64 back to life using Source Technology.
Rockman7-FC is a demake of MegaMan 7 for SNES. All the game’s graphics is in 8-bit pixellated style, re-worked levels to be on an NES scale, re-worked the feel and the gameplay to that of the NES titles, and even “chiptune” versions of the music that sound like something fresh out of an NES speaker.
SNESbox is a Super Nintendo Entertainment System emulator, built on Adobe Flash technology and it can only be run directly in your browser’s window without installing any plugins. Currently they offer around 11000 games to play.

Super Mario Bros. X 1.3 is a massive Mario fan game that blends elements from Super Mario 1, 2, 3 and World. It has many power ups, such as the Ice Flower, Hammer Suit, Tanooki Suit, Kuribo’s shoe, The Billy Gun, and Yoshi. You can also play the game with a friend in the 2 player co-op mode, were the screen seamlessly splits and combines as the players separate and rejoin.
This fangame is most notable for it’s extensive level editor that allows you to create almost any kind of level that you can imagine. The real time editor lets you edit the level while playing it! You can also create your own episode using either the SMB3 or SMW styled world map, or you can create a Mario 64 style hub level and have the players collect stars to advance.
