First they propose an internet law that if approved will transform USA in some kind of China-Iran, with censor in power to limit the expression and freedom of information of american citizen, now the FBI a federal police of USA which is supposed to hunt down serial killers, mafia, organized crimes, drugs and other important things, use precious resources to shut down MegaUpload? MegaUpload is (should i say was) a very famous file sharing site, hell even i knew it! Ok there were copyrighted materials over it, but what about all the legit files, and btw the FBI!!! I mean the FBI!! I think this corporations are really starting to greed too much.. and they maybe have some money-friend at the FBI.. 😆
FBI are just good dogs/soldiers … they just do what the US gov tell. I am really mad of that closing … how i will download all my mods and total conversion of my games, they are so huge now, MU was so fast for download … all that multinationals are sad to lost million$, they drive Porches or Audi, they are sad to cannot by a Ferrari or bought their 10th house…. If US gov continu to close all the web storages, the internet world will be really really furious …
Some says the copyright war has just begun.. the next in the target could be Google and Facebook, i don t know we can see that organized crime is stronger than ever in many countries, yet fbi made this pointless thing, which will damage the legit user of that site..
And all the damage in selling corporations claim, is impossible to prove since, they think that every song, video, game, software, candy downloaded would have been bought otherwise.. which is pretty ridiculous if u think about that.
Since this is a site about gaming.. Do they think that their games sell beacouse there are copy protections or beacouse they are good? I am afraid they think the first one.. 😆
Yes, i agree, they think they lost M$ because people download, but i am sure more of 90% will never buy what they download if they never cant download.
Yep it s hard to estimate the selling loss,i think (as you) that the percentage of people who buy if they can’t download is minimal. Also the copyright laws for multimedia is madness.. 75 years? 😆
