The year is 2052, corporations run the world and what remains of UN is desperately trying to survive the change. Nanotrasen, the current monopolist is leading in science and space travel, but appears to be stagnating, which has lead to formation of the Syndicate – a group of smaller corporations and ex-divisions of Nanotrasen that challenge Nanotrasen’s monopoly, with Cybersun taking the lead and surpassing Nanotrasen in technology. Such turn of events led to tensions between Nanotrasen and Cybersun. The world is on the brink of first corporate war.
Project: Intellisphere is a promising indie flight-sim prototype that blends cyberpunk storytelling with arcade-style air combat.
The game, developed in Godot by stylemistake, is inspired by Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere and aims to be a spiritual successor with a futuristic corporate-war narrative. Players pilot aircraft in a dystopian 2052 setting where mega-corporations battle for dominance. The controls are straightforward (WS/AD/QE for pitch/roll/yaw, Space to fire, Shift/Ctrl for speed), and gamepad support makes it accessible.
Fast-paced aerial combat with a cyberpunk plot framework, while still in alpha and clearly a work-in-progress, Intellisphere already demonstrates solid mechanics, smooth performance in its web version, and a clear creative vision. Fans of arcade flight sims and cyberpunk aesthetics will find it an intriguing project to watch as it evolves.
