The Indie Game Awards 2025 highlighted the independent developers. Organized by Six One Indie, the ceremony featured presenters such as Lena Raine (Celeste composer), Chandana Ekanayake (Outerloop Games), and musician Chipzel, reinforcing the community-driven spirit of the event.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (around 10 million dollars budget to be developed, sold around 5 million copies with a team of 30 people) won Game of the Year.
Update: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 GOTY was revoked and the winner is Blue Prince.
