Chrono Divide is a fan-made project which aims to recreate the original “Red Alert 2” from the “Command & Conquer” series using web technologies. The result is a game client that runs in your web browser, with no additional plugins or applications installed.

The project initially started out as an experiment and was meant to prove that it was possible to have a fully working, cross-platform RTS game running in a web browser. Now, with a playable version already available, the end-goal is reaching feature parity with the original vanilla “Red Alert 2” engine.

C&C:Online is a community-made and managed online server for Generals, Zero Hour, C&C 3, Kane’s Wrath, and Red Alert 3, allowing you to log in and continue playing online just like you could when GameSpy’s servers were still online. Playing on C&C:Online server is absolutely free, but donations are always welcome and needed. Donations go directly towards server maintenance and improvements to the C&C:Online infrastructure.

The cutscenes have always given a boost to the command and conquer series, the Stalin Sosia, Kane, Tanya and all the action sequence, for the most part pretty unrealistic but of great scenic impact, made the single-player mode really enjoyable. Do you remeber Tanya from previous 2 Red Alert? Now she is back, as playmate Jenny McCarthy, i must say, good work EA.
