People at Arena-net created some time ago a retro commercial for Guild Wars 2. In that commercial they needed to show a young actor beating a 16-bit platform game… Originally, they just wanted to build out a couple sprites to fake the game in After Effects, but one of the cinematic artists of the team (Delly Sartika) has long harbored an interest in building his own retro platformer, so he volunteered to build out a playable version of this totally fake game.

Here is one of the review of Angry Joe.. I played Guild Wars 1 for years, dunno if i will join the Guild Wars 2 goodness but from what i ‘ve seen and heard they made the best mmo out there even more beautiful to look and play!
