Stream is a experimental game project. It sports a some side scrolling shooter elements but the main theme of Stream is time travel. You play as a guerilla soldier who wont stop until he completes his mission.
Ludicrous is a 3D multiplayer side scrolling shooter for the PC and Mac, featuring detailed 3D graphics, an arsenal of weapons, items and boosts, a detailed story, a series of varying levels to play on, and editing tools for making your own levels.
Ludicrous is free to play over LAN and/or vs bots, but to gain the full experience (online), which includes persistent online ranks and stats, you’ll need the full version.
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls, Bethesda have released The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall as a free download. To run this game on newer systems, you will need to use an emulation program like DOSBox (windows version included in the zip). Using DosBox this game is playable on Windows, Linux and Mac.
Daggerfall featured one of the first true 3D worlds on a massive scale, with a game world the size of Great Britain. The game had twice as many features as Arena, a deeper role-playing system, and helped usher in an RPG renaissance in 1996.
