Nvidia normally slows down gaming graphics cards (like the RTX 30 series) when doing certain AI math, keeping the faster speeds for expensive professional work cards.
This program removes that artificial speed limit so a gaming graphics card can execute AI tasks just as fast as the professional version.
Unlock FP/BF16 instruction issue rate on consumer Nvidia 30 series cards to their professional equivalents. (Linux)
For windows: GPU Unlock author doesn’t plan to maintain this, but there is a port.
For RTX serie 20-40: There are forks which already support Ada and Turing, Author says it will integrate this soon.
