First of all i ‘ve never heard about Myrient website. I just found out in the news beacouse they told this awesome site is going to shut down at the end of March 2026.
Myrient is a fast and reliable video game preservation service with over 390 terabytes of organized collections publicly available for download. Many of the files on the site are rare materials, i’ve never heard of.
So since the site is going to shut down on March 31, 2026 due to rising hosting costs, download while you can and let’s hope there is some way to dump to other sites or backup this awesome archive.
QUOD is a game (Quake style) that fits into a 64 KB executable (you read it right) – including all textures, levels, models, animations, sounds, music, and code.
It’s a retro shooter with 3 levels, 1 boss fight, 4 unique enemies, 4 weapons, and a handful of power-ups.
Sonic Megamix Mania is a fan-made mod of ‘Sonic Mania Plus’ that recreates the levels of the original ‘Sonic Megamix’ while polishing their art and level design, as well as re-imagines them in a brand new mode that features entirely new stage design, gimmicks, music and graphics!
Sega vs Capcom: The Next Level is a non-profit, fan-made project (from @madxruler) using characters respectively from the worlds of Sega and Capcom. This game features “2v2 Tag Team” gameplay similar to Marvel vs Capcom (Chain + Air + Hyper Combos) alongside other new features (Exceed System + Revenge Parrying). Also featuring new voice actors for each character (AUDITIONS in DISCORD when roles are open).
CAPCOM VS SQUARE: Parallel Destinies is a not-for-profit unofficial crossover fighting game being actively created in the I.K.E.M.E.N. Go engine.
