NVIDIA has officially stopped updating its old GTX graphics cards with new Game Ready drivers. This includes popular models like the GTX 900 and 1000 series.
At the same time, even NVIDIA’s new entry‑level card the RTX 5050 reaches performance close to the old GTX 1080 Ti, while also supporting modern features like ray tracing and DLSS. It shows how far the technology has moved.
GTX cards will still get basic security fixes for a while, but their active life is basically finished. It’s the end of a long and memorable chapter in PC gaming (and mining lol).

OptiScaler is a tool that lets you replace upscalers in games that already support DLSS2+ / FSR2+ / XeSS, now also supports enabling frame generation (through OptiFG or Nukem’s dlssg-to-fsr3).
While previously only DLSS2+ inputs were supported, newer versions also added support for XeSS and FSR2+ inputs (with some caveats 1 ). For example, if a game has DLSS only, the user can replace DLSS with XeSS or FSR 3.1 (same goes for an FSR or XeSS-only game). It also offers extensive customization options for all users, including those with Nvidia GPUs using DLSS.
Enables usage of XeSS, FSR2, FSR3, FSR4 2 and DLSS in upscaler-enabled games.
OptiScaler implements the necessary API methods of DLSS2+ & NVAPI, XeSS and FSR2+ to act as a middleware. It interprets calls from the game and redirects them to the chosen upscaling backend, allowing games using one technology to use another one of your choice.

I am not a big fan on hardware things, after all so far it’s just the Von Neumann Machine, the computers do the same exact things of 50 years ago, only faster thanks to miniaturization.
But, i was interested in this ‘new generations’ of gpus (graphic cards), nvidia made this ion technology, basically you can have a computer in your house that is big as a small box! Wow this is very cool don’t you think?
With this tiny box, you can surf the web, play flash, video, hd movie, and play some (not too new) games. It’s perfect solution (probably) for a media pc, or for netsurfers, probably not so good for hard-core gamers. And from what i heard it consumes only 30 watt of energy!!
Intel and Amd are building their solutions, which are chips which include cpu and gpu all in the same chip! So i think will see more little box pc, who knows if they can do little box pc for hardcore gamers too?
Well for the moment i don’t know, but i must say it, i am really tempted to buy this little cool pc box…
