This version should be
stand-alone (does not require hl 1), i remember back in those days i
had great fun playing this very good mod, now as most of you will know
valve is about to pubblish a remake (Team Fortress 2). Haven’t tried
this for myself, so if u happen to try this, let me know if it’s good or
bad.
TBC is an extremely
short (1 hour of play) RPG. You play a player who is inside a
virtual reality game where he plays against two other contestants to
win a prize (and the whole game is broadcast on TV). The VR
environment is a fantasy world.
This is the western
version of the award winning mmo Granado Espada. From the same author of
ragnarok Online, is it free to play? Do you have to buy the client
without monthly fee? (like Guild Wars) I have no idea about that.
Currently the game is in beta (18 may 2007) so u can try by yourself
free for now. Rumors from our forums is that the client is free to
download, but if u want u can buy a dvd version (for slow connection?)
and the game is free for everyone until level 20, at that point u should
start paying to proceed. Rumors are not confirmed. A nice game definetly
to keep an eye on.
From NCSoft (same
publisher of guild war if i am correct) comes this interesting and nice
looking rpg online. Dungeon Runners is an online role-playing game
that’s free to download and free to play! As a brave hero, you’ll
explore dangerous dungeons, battle ferocious monsters and discover
incredible weapons, artifacts and loot.
I recomend you this one.

the game was free only in its basic part, now according to news on
official site, the game has gone FULL FREE.
A few months ago,
dedicated fans of the Gothic series compiled a feature length film of
the very first Gothic game made of in-game videos and with the dialogue
spoken while playing the game. They managed to cover the entire plot of
the game and with the help of the actors who spoke the characters as
well as Piranha Bytes and the community of World of Gothic, the film was
released in September 2006 shortly before the release of Gothic 3.
Months later, an English version has been released.

Motocross Challenge is a

Warzone 2010 is a 3D RTS
game developed by Pumpkin Studios and published by Eidos Interactive in
1999 for both PC and PlayStation. A fan group called Pumpkin-2 managed
to petition Eidos, the legal owner of the source, to make Warzone
open-source. Now the game is being developed with lots of features
added, such as increased multiplayer unit-limit, support for Glide,
several compatibility fixes for Windows XP, and most recently, the
introduction of static shadows.
This
CD ripper allows you to extract audio files from a CD and convert
them to MP3, WAV, OGG or WMA formats. It connects to the CDDB
database to automatically retrieve title information, and it can
save output filenames based on the track. It supports ID3 tag

GameTap digital distribution service is knocking down its walled garden
to offer free games to all. The company is still offering its premium
paid membership, which it’s now calling "Gold Level," but

Pricing for the gold level (no ads) remains unchanged ($9.95 per month,
99 cents the first month, or $6.95 per month for a one-year commitment).
This premium model, of course, gives gamers the widest array of content,
with access to over 850 games, GameTap TV content, and GameTap Originals
and Indies games. However, for players who just want to get a taste of
GameTap without paying a dime, there are two options. At the most basic
level, any GameTap.com visitor can check out the site and play 30-60
games—the selection of free games is in frequent rotation—through the
Lite Player. The games will be limited to E- and T-rated titles only.
Visitors also can watch GameTap TV’s web-based content, but R-rated
content will not be available. This model will be supported with
non-intrusive banner ads during gameplay while using the Lite Player.
The next step up is a "Green Level" membership, which requires
registration, but a credit card is not needed. Again, 30-60 games in

temperature has been abnormally hot for the season, thanks God now it

Street Fighter 2 in HD
Capcom is doing a
remastered version of Super Stree fighter 2 Turbo, the new game will be
in full HD (new sprites new backgrounds) As you can see from the picture
the new sprite will be 2 times the resolution of guilty gear x and 12 (twelve!)
times the size of the original street fighter, the quality of the sprite
looks like Akira Anime movie. The re-mastering of graphics has been
given to UDON (a company that brought the comics books of street fighter
and Darkstalkers). The game is expected to be released for Xbox360 live
and PS3. Not bad! Hadoouken!
Very similar to Grow,
with an ‘evolution’ add. Will Earth have humanoid rabbits dancing around
or Forest cities? this will be decided through your course of actions.

(of videogames) there was a game on Commodore 64 called
Pool of Radiance, made by SSI, it used the D&D rules in a based-turn
strategy game, well years later we have a game in 3D, full of effect,
class touches and portable! But the gameplay remains the same in some
way or not? Btw i think this game to be interesting and a good diversion
from mainstream.. but i never let others people watch me playing this
when i am on the train..

game. Freddy Pharkas, Frontier Pharmacist is a great adventure game made
by Sierra in 1992. It takes place in Coarsegold, California (a former
Gold Rush town in the old west) and you play the role of Freddy Pharkas,

Beyond the Red Line is a
stand-alone total conversion for the award-winning Freespace 2 released
by Volition and Interplay for the PC. It is based on the popular new

The Restaurant Game is a research project at the MIT Media Lab that will
algorithmically combine the gameplay experiences of thousands of players
to create a new game. In a few months, we will apply machine learning
algorithms to data collected through the multiplayer Restaurant Game,
and produce a new single-player game that we will enter into the 2008
Independent Games Festival. Everyone who plays The Restaurant Game will
be credited as a Game Designer. It’s never been easier to earn Game
Designer credentials!
All contributions are not equal, however. Designers will be ranked based
on how well they play their assigned roles, and accomplish their
objectives. There will be only one Lead Designer. Remaining credits will
be divided into Game Designers and Assistant Game Designers, and within
each category individuals will be ranked according to the quality of
their performance(s). Quality will be determined computationally, based
on a number of factors.
The Restaurant Game takes about 10 minutes to play. It is a two-player
game that will automatically find partners for players once you join a
server. You are welcome encouraged to play multiple times. In order for
this project to be at all successful, we will need to collect a lot of
data — data from over 1,000 10,000 gameplay sessions. Play early, play
often, and please spread the word!
This project attempts to address two frustrations I experienced as a
professional game developer. 1) Convincing human social behavior is
difficult to model with existing hand crafted AI systems. 2) Play
testing by people outside of the development team typically comes too
late to have a major impact on the final product. This experiment aims
to generate AI behaviors that conform to the way players actually choose
to interact with other characters and the environment; behaviors that
are convincingly human because they capture the nuances of real human
behavior and language.

is a NetBSD-based bootfloppy/CD-ROM that allows easy cloning of PC
harddisks to deploy a common setup on a number of PCs using FTP. The
floppy/CD offers two functions. The first is to upload the
compressed image of a local harddisk to a FTP server, the other is
to restore that image via FTP, uncompress it and write it back to
disk. Network configuration is fetched via DHCP. As the harddisk is
processed as an image, any filesystem and operating system can be
deployed using g4u. Easy cloning of local disks as well as

I think one of the main reasons it’s so hard to quit smoking is because all the benefits of quitting and all the dangers of continuing seem very far away. Well, here’s a little timeline about some of the more immediate effects of quitting smoking and how that will affect your body RIGHT NOW.
In 20 minutes
your blood pressure will drop back down to normal.
In 8hours
the carbon monoxide (a toxic gas) levels in your blood stream will drop by half, and oxygen levels will return to normal.
In 48 hours
your chance of having a heart attack will have decreased. All nicotine will have left your body. Your sense of taste and smell will return to a normal level.
In 72 hours
your bronchial tubes will relax, and your energy levels will increase.
In 2 weeks
your circulation will increase, and it will continue to improve for the next 10 weeks.
In three to nine months
coughs, wheezing and breathing problems will dissipate as your lung capacity improves by 10%.
In 1 year
your risk of having a heart attack will have dropped by half.
In 5 years
your risk of having a stroke returns to that of a non-smoker.
In 10 years
your risk of lung cancer will have returned to that of a non-smoker.
In 15 years
your risk of heart attack will have returned to that of a non-smoker.
So, you have more immediate things to look forward to if you quit now besides just freaking out about not being able to smoke.

Dystopia places the player into tense combat
situations in a high tech world spanned by computer networks. As either
Punk Mercenaries or Corporate Security Forces the player will fight
through the physical world to gain access, via jack-in terminals, to
cyberspace. Cyberspace is a three dimensional representation of the
world’s network. Inside cyberspace players will launch programs to hack
into systems linked to the physical world while fighting off enemy
hackers and defending critical systems. Gameplay progresses through
inter-linked physical and cyberspace objectives, some are completed in

From the
time it became apparent that there would be no FS3 the most repeated
complaint the community had
was that Volition wouldn’t release the source code so that the
community could work on it themselves. However, Volition did release the
source code and many of those within the community with programming
experience got to work on it. The result
was FS2_open. The project to make FS2_open has come to be known (originally
enough) as the Source Code Project (SCP).
FS2_open is not FS3. Instead it is a enhancement of the original
Freespace 2 engine. The idea is that by running FS2_open
you can play the Freespace 2 main campaign and all the Freespace 2
mods with better graphics, augmented AI and better mod support. In
addition to this improvements have been
made to several of the games basics to add new kinds of weapons and
missions that couldn’t be done before. These effects won’t show up in
the main campaign but will show up when special "Made
for SCP" mods begin to appear.
The differences between FS2 retail and FS2_open are fairly extensive.
Some think it is almost like playing a new game.

compared to the giants site that is nothing but let me be happy for a
small goal achieved, considering the first 2 months this site was
traffic-less. This site started in italian language, but soon i realized
there were a lot of non-italians that came to watch, so best should have
been to have a site with double language but i am too lazy for that so
at a point i started writing in english, the site grows a lot, many
stuff were added and something got deleted but after a year here we are
to make a shelter in this ocean called internet. A special thanks goes
to the ‘friends’ of guild wars guild i was part in, they helped me
starting some traffic to this site, thank you guys u are great.
For curiosity the

A nice iniative
indeed, is it worth? I don’t know.. from what i have understood, u
can download and install the game the same day, u need an internet
connection, when u install a game or an application, from their
website will be send a cd-key to proceed with installation. The next
day that cd-key will not be available anymore so u can install only
once. If u wanna discuss this… forum

che ‘regala’ anche se solo per una singola installazione(temporale)
giochi e applicativi. In pratica il programma ‘del giorno’ va
scaricato e installato il giorno stesso, al momento di installarlo,
il setup comunica col sito web che invia una cd-key per sbloccarlo,
ovviamente il giorno dopo la cd-key non è più disponibile.

Interlagos questa domenica, Felipe Massa ha fatto la gara della sua vita
andando a vincere davanti al suo pubblico(L’ultimo a cui era riuscita
l’impresa fu il leggendario Ayrton Senna), Fernando Alonso ha vinto il
mondiale(meritatamente) ma più importante di tutto Michael Schumacher
chiude la sua carriera dopo aver disputato una gara incredibile, dando
prova ancora una volta di essere un marziano al volante della sua
monoposto, senza dubbio uno dei migliori piloti di tutti i tempi. Lo
ammetto all’inizio non ero un gran fan di M.Scumacher, ma dopo questi
anni lo devo ammettere senza di lui la F1 non sarà più la stessa. Ciao
Micheal grazie per tutte le vittorie e gli inni di Mameli che ci hai
fatto ascoltare. Tenete in caldo i motori l’anno prossimo si ricomincia

Volevo segnalare questo mmo sull’Antica roma, non ha un canone mensile
(come guild wars) e per chi vuole si puo comprare ‘sesterzi’ usando
denaro vero. Graficamente non è un granchè, e il gioco in generale tende
a simulare.. quindi niente punti ferita e azioni verosimili.. ex
cuocersi un pesce dura 10 minuti reali, oppure un colpo di bastone
procura fratture, uno di spada puo’ essere fatale.. senza una debita
corazza. Da segnalare che i giocatori scorretti o cheater o che
insultano vengono
crocifissi letteralmente, restando in un ban attivo per un tot di tempo
deciso dal admin.. Boh a me non mi ispira più di tanto ma mi sembrava
giusto segnalarlo.

PROJECT-MP
Project-MP è un software che permette di organizzare partite
multiplayer, utilizzabile da qualsiasi provider internet, compresi
gli utenti FastWeb. Questo nuovo sistema permette così di utilizzare
un normale software, senza bisogno di un server centralizzato. Tutte
le lobby (le partite create dai giocatori) verranno monitorate e
registrate in una apposita sezione, chiamata Lobby, dove si potrà
visualizzare l’elenco completo delle partite create e in questo modo
ogni giocatore potrà partecipare e chattare prima di prendere parte
al gioco vero e proprio. Il progetto è gia in fase di sviluppo e

è conclusa la Big Compo 2006, all’inizio volevo hostare tutti i
giochi del concorso, ma poi mi sono reso conto mentre li giocavo che
molti erano incompleti, o pieni di bugs, altri semplicemente brutti,

Come potete vedere hanno riammodernato la grafica,
il gameplay è rimasto identico, la grafica fa molto diablo 2 style.
Non ci ho mai giocato, ma stando a quanto si legge sul sito sono
nove anni che è in giro. Chiaramente (se non si considerano i muds)
Ultima è stato il primo MMO della storia, e a detta di molti uno dei
più belli e complessi.

Alien Arena 2007 has
been released for Windows and Linux on September 2, 2006, nearly one
year after the 2006 version. My how much can change in one year!
It’s amazing how the community has grown, and helped shape the game
into what it is today. It is safe to say, that AA2k7 barely
resembles it’s predecessor at all.
What is different? Well besides the upgrading of many textures,
models, and effects, the engine has gotten a host of new features
such as real time shadows, better dynamic lighting, shaders, new
mutators, games modes, far too much to list here. CRX 6.0 is not
only faster, smoother than before, it’s also much more stable and
secure. Most of all…it’s the maps! With 37 in total, it’s hard to
believe that so many of the old maps have been discontinued.
Now with Galaxy 2.0 serving as a front end, players can feel more
connected to the community than ever before, and track their own as
well as other players stats with a click of the mouse! With a built
in IRC client, users can chat with others, or stay abreast of latest
tourney news, or get help if they have problems with the game.
