Enhanced Splinter Cell is a major patch for the original Splinter Cell, fixing bugs and adding gameplay improvements.
The Enhanced Splinter Cell patch is a fan-made overhaul that breathes new life into the original 2002 classic. It introduces a wide range of improvements, including:
Restored Xbox lighting and textures, making the visuals richer and more atmospheric—especially in low-light stealth scenarios.
Gameplay tweaks like tapping a key to open the inventory (instead of holding it), toggling the HUD, and using the crouch key to drop from ledges—features inspired by later Splinter Cell titles.
Two previously cut missions—Nuclear Power Plant and Severonickel—have been added back in, along with new cutscenes to enhance storytelling.
Modern system support, including widescreen fixes, a 60 FPS cap, and restored Shadow Buffer rendering via dgVoodoo2.
Quality-of-life upgrades like customizable movement speed at game start and full controller support once in-game.
PlayStation 3 HD Textures for Enhanced SC, Enhanced SC includes an improved character texture package that replaces the original PS3.
and much more!
It’s essentially the definitive way to replay Splinter Cell in 2025.
We want to share extra special news today! It’s now easier than ever to access World of Warships and continue your progression through the platform of your choice. With the release of Update 14.2, we’re introducing a long-awaited feature: you can link your existing account to Steam and freely play using the platform, even if your account wasn’t created through Steam!
When the integration with Steam was first implemented, such a thing wasn’t possible; however, over the past few years, we’ve been working on updating the system to bring these changes to all Wargaming titles, and recent updates were a crucial part of the necessary preparations.
Thanks to extensive improvements to our account infrastructure, you can now seamlessly switch between Steam and the Wargaming Game Center (WGC) while keeping your in-game progress.
This update is part of our ongoing effort to enhance platform flexibility and convenience for all players.
You can link your accounts via the Steam client as soon as Update 14.2 launches, but the link will only start working after March 6(7).

This unofficial “patch” allows you to play Diablo II in resolutions greater than 640×480 and 800×600. It is, for the most part, completed, but there are still a few issues that have not been worked out. The “patch” lets you select any resolution 640×480 or higher that is supported by your current display adapter/monitor.
The Widescreen Mod allows Planescape:Torment, Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the sword Coast, Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Baldur’s Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter and Icewind Dale II to be played at previously unsupported resolutions, like those of widescreen monitors. The project is currently an open beta, and only some engine variants are supported, those these will expand in future releases.
Any resolution is supported, provided that its X axis is greater or equal than 800 and the Y axis is greater or equal to 600 . Fullscreen works for any resolution supported by your graphic card, driver and screen. Otherwise, you can play the game windowed (except in TotSC and Ps:T, where you can’t play the game windowed).
