Heroes and Generals is an online war game with multiple game modes accessible from multiple platforms. Play the game as the hero on the battlefield, the officer making the tactical decisions to win the battle, the general command devising the grand strategy and everything in between. Every player’s action has consequences for the war effort. The main part of the game is a team based first-person-shooter, but it ties into a persistent game world.

Unlike previous versions of winSPWW2 (Steel Panthers WW2) and winSPMBT (Stel Panthers Main Battle Tank), gamers using recent versions of Windows no longer need to follow their own unique set of installation instructions. Both titles now install directly under Windows 7 without any special modifications by the user. They added the new nation since march 2012 but i found out only now.. long time i had abandoned the game, which offered a lot of fun until it lasted.. oh well i guess i ll have to go back to play now that there is the Italian Navy… 😆
