Empyrean Rule – Rise of the Ancients is a skill based real time strategy game in a massive persistent open world with players from all over the world, putting them in command of fantasy armies in epic 3D battles. Create armies choosing from a great variety of units (Light/Heavy Infantry, Ranged, Cavalry, Engines, Special, etc.), races (Humans, Orcs, Goblins, Undead, Dwarfs, etc.) and heroes (Casters, Melee, Ranged, etc.) with different special abilities and spells. Conquer and control regions and help in the forging and managing of empires in a player driven economy with custom crafting of tradable goods and equippable items.
The developers were contracted to design and develop an RTS game called Kingdoms Age, but it was cancelled a few months later. Empyrean Rule – Rise of the Ancients will be the first official game published by the development team.

Generally i don’t talk about this, but since one of the developer send news about it and the game looks promising, here is a real ambitious project. Ensemble is a Real-time Strategy much like the classics of the 90s, e.g, Age of Empires, but on a breathtakingly vast map and in a persistent world. You play as a hero exploring an uncharted desert, battling nature (and other player settlers), uncovering and gathering various resources, and discovering new territory to build towns and outposts in. You can build farms and mills to harvest food and defensive towers to protect your land, but one of the most interesting features is being able to ally with other players and work together to build these towns.

Funcom is excited to announce that themassively multiplayer online game ‘Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures’ will receive a digital re-launch this summer under the new name ‘Age of Conan: Unrated’. Dawn of Fantasy will be published by 505 Games on June 3rd, 2011
International videogames publisher 505 Games have today proudly announced a publishing deal for Dawn of Fantasy, an upcoming massively multiplayer online real time strategy (MMORTS) title from developer Reverie World Studios. Set in the massively multiplayer fantasy world of Mythador, which supports its own living economic, trading, development and diplomacy systems, players will be given the opportunity to leave their mark on the land’s already war-torn history.
